The band was formed in Vancouver, Canada, in 2015, with the purpose of sharing Vallenato and Cumbia. The group’s name reflects one of their main purposes: to overcome generational gaps and so share with people from all ages and backgrounds their music. Breaking Boundaries want to reach to those who love music.
