O maior amor do mundo follows Antonio, 55, an internationally renowned astrophysicist filled with longing and sadness, who returns home to spend his final weeks of life. Unexpectedly, in a short few days, he winds up expe- riencing all the joys of life that had eluded him until then. He finally discovers every form of love for a woman and endearing love for his parents, friends and birthplace, plus a profound appreciation for his own existence.
