VLAFF's SHORTS FILM SELECTION AT THE VIART FESTIVAL IN VENEZUELA.

The Vancouver Latin American Film Festival is pleased to announce a collaboration with VIART; the Festival of University Short Films in Caracas, Venezuela.

VIART is a competitive festival that for thirteen years has brought to Caracas the best of the Hispano-American short films directed by students. VIART also organizes seminars, workshops and special presentations throughout the year.

The eight films selected are:

Constitucion.
Director: Ignacio Busquier, Chile.

El Deseo.
Director: Marie Benito, Mexico.

Vi tu Cel.
Director: Andres Almeida, Mexico.

Chimbumbe.
Director: Antonio Coello, Mexico.

Mareas.
Director: Margarita Poseck, Chile.

Chiles.
Director: Tyronne Huff, Estados Unidos.

La Tarde Tiene Ojos.
Director: Carlas Sama, Mexico.

Día Festivo.
Director: Eber Garcia, Mexico.

The Vancouver Latin American Film Festival congratulates these filmmakers and would like to thank VIART in Caracas for helping bring the VLAFF experience beyond our borders.
