Pau Arratia

Pau Arratia (they/she) is a queer Latinx filmmaker and curator with an academic background in Communications, Cinema, and Experimental Art. Gravitating toward stories about community, collectiveness, and the threats to our natural state of togetherness, Pau champions ethics in storytelling. Their work includes a self-published poetry anthology, a manifesto about alternative identities, an interactive online narrative, and short films from experimental to documentary. Pau is the co-creator of a National Geographic-funded storytelling lab for young Mexican women in association with Girl Up Mexico and Ambulante, and has been a juror and curator for the Vancouver Latin American Film Festival.
