Remo Manfredini es un jockey legendario, pero su comportamiento autodestructivo empieza a eclipsar su talento y a amenazar su relación con Abril, su novia. El día de la carrera más importante de su vida, que saldará las deudas con su jefe mafioso Sirena, sufre un grave accidente, desaparece del hospital y vaga por las calles de Buenos Aires. Liberado de su identidad, empieza a descubrir quién es realmente. Pero Sirena quiere encontrarlo, vivo o muerto.

Luis Ortega

Luis Ortega grew up in the United States until the age of eleven; he then lived in the province of Tucumán until 1995. At 19, he directed his first film, Caja Negra, which premiered at the Mar del Plata Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize. His subsequent films have toured extensively at international festivals and premiered in various countries. His most recent film was El Ángel, from 2018, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2015, he wrote, directed, and composed the theme music for the television series Historia de un Clan. He also directed the first two episodes of the series El Marginal and, in 2020, directed two episodes of the series Narcos. He is currently working on his next film, El Jockey, produced by Rei Cine and El Despacho, the production company he founded in 2020.
