In 2021, he was named a Guggenheim Fellow.

I\u2019m Emmanuel Saavedra, a Mexican student at CAAV \u2013 Universidad de Medios Audiovisuales, located in Guadalajara, Mexico. Throughout my time as a student, I have participated in several short and feature films.
Among the most notable projects are a music video produced for an emerging artist from my hometown, Guadalajara, where I served as producer, and a short film titled Ju\u00e1rez, which I wrote and directed.
