FELIPE HOLGUIN

Felipe Holguín is a Colombian writer and director. His many credits include the short fictional films Mañana (09), Salvador (10), and La Suerte Del Salao (16), the short documentaries Made In Colombia: Mucho Perro (12), Made In Colombia: Vallenato In The Box (13), and La Cachera (19), the documentary features Transforming Realities (15) and Dream Creators (15) as well as multiple music videos. La Suprema (23) is his debut narrative feature.
MAGDA OCHOA

Magda Ochoa is a versatile actress, director and producer whose remarkable career spans more than three decades. She completed her drama studies in 1988 (Mexico) and has since excelled in a variety of roles, including acting teacher, assistant director and producer. Between 1997 and 2000, she pursued her theatrical studies at Université Laval (QC) and then taught at the Universidad de las Américas (MX). Magda’s captivating productions, such as “Un Fil à la patte” and “Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme” (Le Petit Théâtre AF) and “De la plume à la scène” and “SpectActivisme” (La Boussole de Vancouver), testify to her flexibility and artistic creativity. Deeply committed to theatre education, she has taught at different institutions in Mexico and in Vancouver. She is currently involved in independent theatre projects focused on enriching the cultural landscape of the francophone community in British Columbia and other underrepresented communities. Magda’s dedication to using theater as a tool for social engagement is evident when she has led her workshops at La Boussole in Vancouver as well as at Réseau-Femmes BC. She has collaborated as a peer assessor for Canada Council for the Arts. She is a former board of directors’ member of Réseau-Femmes BC. As an actor, she has been cast for Bordered by Anaisa Visser (2018); Our Home by Andy Alvarez (2019); Growing Up with Mi Familia by Andy Alvarez (2020); Cuello (2021) and Josefa y su amorcito (2022) both by Sebastian Ortiz Wilkins. More recently, Magda has been cast as Abuela for Lupe Q and the Galactic Corn Cake, by Javier Badillo. She is a full member of UBCP ACTRA and is represented by Trisko Talent.
ENRIQUE VÁZQUEZ
(Mexico)
Mexican. Graduated from the ENAC at UNAM and Vancouver Film School. Nominated for a Mexican Academy Award for Documentary Short and selected for Berlinale Talents. He has co-written several films, including ¿Conoces a Tomás? and the TV series “The Inmate”, nominated for an International Emmy. His directorial debut, Firma Aquí, screened in the Fantastic Pavilion at the Cannes Festival. He’s currently producing a film for Netflix and developing his next feature as director.
