WAYS TO DONATE
There are two main ways to donate year-round, online through CanadaHelps or by cheque mailed to VLAFF’s office (420 – 111 W Hastings St, Vancouver, BC V6B 1H4, Canada).
During the festival, from Sept 10-20, 2026, we will also be receiving donations through our box office at the Cinematheque. Debit, credit, or cash are accepted!

VLAFF DONOR PACKAGES
Donor Packages are a structured and tier-based donation system. Each tier has a corresponding minimum amount, starting at $20 and going up to $500, and exclusive benefits.
These packages are still available during our festival time! If at the time of your donation one of our events has passed, we can offer a voucher for tickets to another screening (depending on availability).

DONATE at #VLAFF24 and PARTIPATE IN THE RAFFLE!
During the festival, Sept 10-20, 2026, at the Cinematheque, audience members will be able to ask questions, provide feedback, and learn about how their donations help shape VLAFF’s programming. Volunteers will guide them through donation options and benefits, including tax receipts.
Those who donate at the development table will be added to the festival raffle. Prizes include two tickets to an upcoming show at the Vogue Theatre, two tickets to The Cultch’s 2026/27 season, two tickets for Son Rompe Pera at Hollywood Theatre, and book bundles.
Winners will be announced on Closing Night on Sept 20 and contacted by email.
