You know you love it, you know you don’t want to miss it. Fuego Fogo comes back for the third year in a row, the steamiest collaboration between the Vancouver Queer Film Festival and VLAFF. See you at The Birdhouse on September 19 at 10:30 pm as always, Latine Cuir/Queer vibes. Drag, a Ballroom Showcase, and an incredible DJ lineup.

Malandro explodes from the cabaret and underground techno scene of Mexico City with shows filled with fun, sensuality, and reckless glamour. Unpredictable and unforgettable, the party is his playground and his lifestyle. He navigates the stage through gender play, body movement, and electric storytelling. 

MYA

Mya is a Brazilian drag queen who has taken over Vancouver’s drag scene with her emotional ballads and her Brazilian musicality, she is the winner of VNDS All Stars 2026, making her the first person to hold the title of Vancouver’s Ultimate Drag Superstar.

She is the host of many show such as Catwalk, Let’s Salseo and Bingo for Life Takeover. She loves to incorporate her love for music and her culture wherever she performs! She takes pride in representing the Latin excellence we have in this city.

The trans Latinx Drag King known for flaunting his fashion sense, heavy hitting tricks and stealing your heart is BACK! The Chilean Stallion has been packing a punch and dominating the West Coast as the gender-bending fella you won’t get over but might want to get under. It’s Sylvester Stalletto!!

Princess Kachonda Jeremy Scott

Kachonda is a multifaceted performer in Vancouver. As the most recently awarded Femme Queen Performance of the year she always brings dramatic, memorable and sickening vogue performances to the floor.

Take a dip into the world of ballroom, and witness the meaning of performance. Curated by Kachonda Jeremy Scott, assembled with other members of the Vancouver ballroom community (Diablo 007, Pablo Mulan, Princess Pegasus Pink Lady, Princess Kachonda Jeremy Scott), they take the VLAFF stage by storm and catwalk you through one of the most memorable nights of the summer – an interactive voguing showcase with no breathers in between. Pabllo Hua Mulan

Originally from Brazil, Pabllo brings fire, precision, and undeniable presence to every stage he touches. Professionally trained dancer, he blends technical excellence with raw movement, musicality, and a fearless approach to performance. Known for making a moment every time he hits the floor and for collecting wins both nationally and internationally, Pabllo commands attention wherever he moves. Whether on the runway or the floor, he delivers energy, confidence, and an unforgettable experience.

Princess Pegasus Pink Lady

Pegasus “Peggy” is a trans/queer artist and dancer born and raised in the city. She first started dancing within the Vancouver ballroom scene in 2023. And has continued to grow, and exceed in sharing her talents on stages across canada. During her time she has also developed herself into being the one and only femme queen commentator of the west coast.  Come make it hot, and watch Pegasus “Peggy” take flight at Fuego/FOGO

SEMILLITXS

SEMILLITXS aka Semillites Hernández Velasco is a brown and trans multidisciplinary artist based in Burnaby.

SEMILLITXS loves mixing Mexican cumbias, reggaeton, cumbiaton and a sprinkle of electronic music. He is driven by nostalgic rhythms played during his childhood in Mexico City. Most of the time, you’ll find him playing for his friends in his Burnaby apartment, making their asses shake. You can find some of his mixes on: soundcloud.com/semillitxs

BINKY

BINKY is a Dominican-born DJ, singer, and multidisciplinary artist blending reggaeton, techno, electronic, experimental sounds through a sensual, high-energy lens. As founder of Club Bebé, she creates community-driven spaces that center Femme, Latinx and QTBIPOC celebration. With roots in singing and songwriting, she is expanding into music production and developing a practice that merges DJing, live vocals, and immersive performance.
