M&M (Miguel Usandivaras & Martín Jalfen) is a duo of filmmakers working on videoclips, short films and hundreds of award-winning commercials.
Their short film ‘La ceguera del bosque’ (The Blindness of the Woods) received the Canal+ Award at Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival and was part of Sundance Film Festival. The short film ‘Cocodrilo de plata’ (Silver Crocodile) made for Sundance TV was part of Saatchi and Saatchi “New Talent Directors” in the Cannes Lions Awards. Their short film ‘Profite’, musicalized by Benjamin Biolay & Vanessa Paradis, was presented at the Hammer Museum of Los Angeles. In 2018 they made a documentary film, ‘24 Hours’, during the Rio Carnival, for Red Bull TV. In 2022, with the Red Cross, they made ‘Trayectoria’ a short film against the armed violence in LATAM, with music by Thom Yorke (Radiohead), receiving the Gran Prix at Ojo de Iberoamérica, 4 bronze lions in the Cannes Lions Awards, a silver award at the Clío Awards, and more.
In 2024 they finished ‘Bienvenido’ (Welcome) a short film drama about toxic masculinity in a football environment. No lo grites is their first feature film, explores the same topics and it is currently in development.
