IN BETWEEN WOUNDS & WEAVINGS

SHORTS PROGRAM

Something happens when a community gathers around its own stories: stories that inevitably carry wounds, whether personal or shared. This collection of eight short films by emerging creators from Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Cuba, explores what we do with what we carry. How we transform it. And how, in finding each other, we also find joy. From insects and landscapes, to time travel and queerness, these filmmakers move across documentary, animation, video essay, dramatic and experimental forms. Drawing from memory and the everyday, each film arrives with its own pain, catharsis, and hope. Together, they weave a collective fabric of healing, resilience and belonging.

Curated by María Blanco, Nicolás Serrano, Pablo Betancourt, Ricardo Hardy & Rodrigo Ferrat
