Isabel (13 years old) takes care of her aunt Gilma, who was beaten by her partner Raphael and admitted to a hospital in the turbulent city of Caracas. During the hospital stay, Isabel promises Gilma to keep a secret. Despite the chaos surrounding them, Isabel will do anything to save her aunt and accomplish her promise.
Isabel (13 años) cuida a su tía Gilma, quien fue golpeada por su pareja, Rafael, e internada en un hospital de la convulsa ciudad de Caracas. Durante la estancia en el hospital, Isabel promete a Gilma guardar un secreto. A pesar del caos que los rodea, Isabel hará cualquier cosa para salvar a su tía y cumplir su promesa.

ALEXANDRA HENAO
Graduated from the National Film and TV School NFTS (UK), where she completed her postgraduate program in Cinematography. She has a degree in Social Communication from UCAB Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Venezuela and obtained her master’s degree in Screenwriting at CSUN California State University Northridge.
Her documentary “Poisoning Kuyuhani” has been recognized as Best Andean Documentary in the Franco-Andean contest Documenta 2017. “Cunaro” won La Navaja de Buñuel from the SGAE, Best Short Film at the Chicago Latino FF, and the Rencontres du Cinema Suramericaine. Was also elected Top Ten at the Curta Kinoforum Brasil. Her short film “La Uva” is part of the Top Ten of the AXN FF and pwas also screened at Mostra de São Paulo. “La Tranca”, feature doc was selected at FICCI and IDFA Docs for Sale.
She is also the cinematographer of the feature films “Azul y No Tan Rosa” GOYA for Best Ibero-American Film, “I am the other one” Official Selection Outfest Los Angeles, “El Inca,” “3 Beauties” and “Small Stories,” all awarded as Best Film at the National Film Festival of Venezuela where the film “Opposite Direction” and “The Night of the Two Moons,” got the Best Cinematography award in 2019 and 2021.
