This intimate experimental documentary invites us to experience the director’s writing about his conflicted feelings about the public places in Havana where the gay community meets secretly.
Otto Morales
Born in Consolación del Sur, Pinar del Río, in 1997, Otoniel Morales Hernández, known artistically as Otto Morales, has forged a remarkable career in documentary filmmaking. This year, he was admitted to the prestigious International School of Film and Television (EICTV), where he will specialize in Documentary Film. His passion for the art of film led him to obtain a full scholarship to participate in the “Sentimientos Encontrados” online residency, directed by Professor Manuel Abramovic in Germany, also in 2025. He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication with a specialization in Sound from the University of the Arts (2024) and a degree in Sociocultural Management for Development from the Hermanos Saíz University in Pinar del Río (2024). He also completed a 5.1 mixing workshop at EICTV and holds a B1 level in English, certified by the Andrés Bello López Language School. He also holds a flute degree from the National School of Music (ENA).
