VLAFF Society Membership
VLAFF is responsible for operating in compliance with the Motion Picture Act and Consumer Protection BC.
2023-2024 VLAFF MEMBERSHIP
- To attend a Vancouver Latin American Film Festival film screening (which may not have been classified by Consumer Protection BC), you must be a Vancouver Latin American Film Festival member.
- Membership is by annual subscription and is limited to persons who are 18 years of age or over.
- Only members are permitted to be present at the place where a non-classified film is being exhibited.
- Vancouver Latin American Film Festival’s mandate is the encouragement and appreciation of motion pictures as a medium of art, information or education.
For ticket holders, please carry the proof of purchase of your membership with you to the cinema (either a digital or paper copy), as you will be required to show it at all in-person VLAFF screenings, including special screenings throughout the year.
For festival passholders, your membership is automatically included with your pass.
All members in good standing with current memberships may vote for the Board of Directors at the AGM held each spring.
Annual Membership: $10
The annual membership is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Price includes the Festival Brochure mailed to your home.

The Festival Membership is only available with the purchase of a ticket. Festival memberships are valid from the festival dates until Aug 31 of the following year.
All membership fees go directly to supporting VLAFF programs.
