Cesc Gay (Barcelona, 1967) studied film in Barcelona and New York, where he co-directed his first feature film, Hotel Room (1998), with Daniel Gimelberg. He has since directed Krámpack (2000), In the City (2003), Fiction (2006) and A Gun in Each Hand (2012). In 2016, Truman won five Goya Awards including Best Picture and Best Director.
