In a Santo Domingo neighborhood, a man is about to commit an unforgivable crime. Multiple events will collide. A middle-aged woman walks back home after grocery shopping, a fruit seller chants Christian words as he rides his loaded tricycle, and the suspect drives desperately in the direction of his target.
En un barrio de Santo Domingo, un hombre está a punto de cometer un crimen imperdonable. Múltiples eventos colisionarán. Una mujer de mediana edad camina de regreso a casa después de hacer las compras, un vendedor de frutas hace llamados cristianos desde su triciclo y el sospechoso conduce desesperadamente en dirección a su objetivo.
Johnattan Báez
Johnattan Baez is a Dominican film director, screenwriter, producer & editor. He studied Film and Creative Writing at Western Michigan University, with additional studies at Charles University in Prague. Baez previously earned a degree in Multimedia from Las Americas Institute of Technology, in the Dominican Republic.
His films often revolve around psychological aspects confronted by the main characters, sliding away from conventional structures, while keeping an intriguing and somewhat intense plot. His projects in development include both, feature films and short films.
In 2021 he founded Cinergetik, a production company which aims at developing a self-sustainable system for mass production of quality short films.
