Victoria Guillem
Victoria (Vicki, Vic) Guillem is an artist and filmmaker. She was born to Ecuadorian immigrants in New York City and has lived in NYC her whole 26 years of life (aside from a semester abroad in Cuba). She started making films as a preteen and has always been drawn to both documentary and experimental genres. Her film work has been included in the Anthology Film Archives New Filmmakers series, Universe Multicultural Film Festival, Hallucine Film Festival, and various local showcases and screenings in Brooklyn.
Victoria’s work as of late has focused on themes of family and time, presented in a vulnerable and magical realist style.
