Sacharuna Shorts is a snapshot of travels and collaborative audiovisual and stop-motion initiatives throughout the Peruvian Amazon. The shorts included were created as part of workshops with Indigenous youth and adults, developed for the preservation and promotion of intergenerational and intercultural dialogue that (re)values the diverse ancestral knowledge of communities in the Peruvian Amazon.
The screenings will be accompanied by a discussion on participatory filmmaking.
All films are subtitled in English.

These stop-motion shorts were collaboratively created with the Indigenous communities of Puerto Franco, Flor de Agosto, and Puerto Aurora in the Putumayo River basin.
