Nominated for the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival with the short SIDERAL (2021), Carlos Segundo is a director, photographer, screenwriter and editor. His other most recent works are: the short DE VEZ EM QUANDO EU ARDO (2020) and the feature FENDAS (2019), both premiered at FID Marseille; and the short films SUBCUTÂNEO (2018) and AINDA SANGRO POR DENTRO (2016), both premiered at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival. Professor of the Audiovisual course at the Department of Social Communication at UFRN [Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte], Segundo holds a PhD in Multimedia from Unicamp (2016). Master in Psychoanalysis and Cinema from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2011), postgraduate in Philosophy of Art from IFIEG/UEG (2008). Coordinator and curator of festivals, exhibitions and training workshops.As days goes by, Laura witnesses her body slowly transforming, exacerbating her anxiety. Despite seeking help, this cycle is living in an isolation that seems to be perpetual.
