In need of more work, a humble labourer in rural Córdoba seeks a job with a successful real estate developer in the area, but it may not be the solution he had hoped for. Set against the backdrop of raging wildfires, the film is visually arresting and carries a profoundly affecting message.

With a theme that is even more current today than when it was filmed, the film has a searing dry tone like its landscape, but for the field labourer protagonist, “the procession spirals inward.”
