SPOTLIGHT ON GERMÁN GUTIÉRREZ

As part of the program “75 Years of Latinx-Canadian Cinema,” VLAFF is pleased to host the Montreal-based filmmaker Germán Gutiérrez in Vancouver, and present a spotlight on his 25 years of creating cinema in Canada.

Join us for a dialogue with Germán about the Colombian peace process, the new president Gustavo Petro, and his latest projects. The presentation will included excerpts from his new film, History Will Judge, a comprehensive and profound look at the contemporary political landscape of Colombia.
