VLAFF congratulates Shane Vieau for winning the Oscar for Best Production Design for his work as Set Decorator on Guillermo del Toro’s magnificent film The Shape of Water.

Shane Vieau was VLAFF’s Board President from 2008 to 2013, and helped VLAFF to become one of the leading Latin American film festivals in North America. 

Shane is still a donor and an advisor to VLAFF; we could not be happier to see one of VLAFF’s greatest friends reach a life goal.
