Every year the presence of Argentine cinema is strong at our festival. This year, two first-time directors present intimate yet relevant films, Ditches and Road to La Paz (starring Rodrigo de la Serna). In the acclaimed film Truman, audiences will be swept away by a powerful performance by Ricardo Darin, one of Latin America’s most important actors. Our new section ¡Activismo! presents the struggle of one of the founders of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo. Three short films screen in the competition section.
